Azalea storytelling festival- 30th anniversary edition!
Join us as Azalea Storytelling celebrates 30 years of bringing stories to life during our milestone 30th Anniversary Festival in March 2027! This special weekend will feature an unforgettable lineup of nationally acclaimed storytellers, including Donald Davis, Bil Lepp, Carol Cain, and Andy Hedges, along with performances, workshops, community events, and opportunities to experience the rich tradition of storytelling in all its forms.
As part of this landmark celebration, Azalea Storytelling is partnering with several of LaGrange's leading arts and cultural organizations for a community-wide 30th Anniversary Art Crawl, connecting storytelling with visual art, local history, and the western art. Throughout the festival weekend, visitors can explore exhibitions, attend special events, and experience how stories connect people, places, and generations.
Whether you've attended for years or are discovering us for the first time, we invite you to celebrate three decades of laughter, learning, and unforgettable stories. Come help us honor our past, celebrate our present, and begin the next chapter of Azalea Storytelling.

Stories with Friends is our free, open-mic style storytelling event where community members come together to share stories, listen, laugh, reflect, and connect. Whether you’re a seasoned storyteller, trying it for the very first time, or simply want to enjoy an afternoon of meaningful conversation—there’s a place for you here.

Join us for an afternoon of stories, laughter, and community at Stories with Friends — Azalea Storytelling’s monthly open mic storytelling gathering!
Hosted this month in partnership with Fellowship Hillside Community, this free family-friendly event welcomes everyone, whether you love telling stories or simply enjoy listening. Beginners and experienced tellers alike are invited to share personal stories, humorous moments, memories, folktales, poetry, and more in a warm and encouraging atmosphere.
