Stories With Friends

“Stories with Friends” is a free monthly community storytelling gathering presented by Azalea Storytelling. Typically held on the third Sunday of each month from 2:00–4:00 PM, this family-friendly program brings people together through the power of storytelling in a welcoming, open-mic style setting.

Each month, the location changes as the program visits different local businesses, organizations, and community spaces throughout the area. Community members are invited to either share a story or simply come listen and enjoy the experience. Eight storytelling slots are available each event and are filled on a first come, first served basis. Stories must be 12 minutes or less and appropriate for all ages.

Whether you are a seasoned storyteller or sharing for the very first time, “Stories with Friends” offers a relaxed and encouraging space to connect, laugh, reflect, and celebrate the stories that bring our community together.
